When Additional Information is combined with xID, some special guidelines applies.

1. Display relevant information to the user

A user might meet both enrollment on xID and enrollment on Additional Information at the same time, if it is the first time he uses either of the services. In this case, the user experience might not give the impression that this is an easier way to register and log in. This requires honest communication with the user, ensuring him that this will only happen the first time he uses the services.

We recommend that you display some information about this in the area near the button or link for xID at your website, to help the user understand that the enrollment is only the first time. We have made a text suggestion that you can use:

 “Vil du fylle ut skjemaer kjapt og enkelt? Første gang bruker du BankID for å opprette din xID, og du kan også lagre din kontaktinformasjon hos BankID. Neste gang får du registrering og innlogging kun med et klikk. Kjapt og enkelt! Les mer om xID”
